I am a multimedia artist studying at the University of Arts Bremen, Germany (Digital Media M.A.), with a legal, human rights and project management background. I am interested in how new media absorb sources of multidisciplinary inspiration and affect the social environment.
The world around us is a source of daily inspiration. It can be a sunrise over the sea, a forest moss, an urban non-place landscape or a neon haze. It can be field recordings of rain, wind, or highway noise. It might be insights of object-oriented ontology or Advaita. It may be the data of statistics or the choreography of sensory distance measurements.
All these perceptions are reflected in me and embodied in my work. I address the inner experiences of the author and the viewer, social problems, guided by research interest, spontaneity and irony.
I have created an interactive installation based on news data and city street time-lapses, tried my hand at sonification of covid statistics, created an Arduino-based musical instrument, staged a performance using generative soundscape and sensors. I’m very passionate about visual programming in TouchDesigner, performing as a VJ, creating interactive environments and 3D objects in VR, generating fiction and images using AI (GPT-3, StyleGAN) in my course projects.
I am currently exploring the possibilities of generative graphics to create avant-garde paintings, mastering quantitative data sonification tools to create interactive environments, and working on a sci-fi portrait exhibition based on neural network generation and lenticular images. I am impressed by organizations that work at the intersection of communication, technology and art, and can create an immersive and impactful experience for the viewer and I wish to find common ground with their creators.
While striving to master new skills, based on the project tasks, structuring my artistic development track I’m looking for collaboration in collective art projects.
